Sportswear brand Nike encourages women to “win” in its first Super Bowl ad for 27 years.
Devised by creative agency Wieden and Kennedy, the 60-second spot ‘So Win’ stars athletes Sha’Carri Richardon, A’ja Wilson, Sabrina Ionescu, Caitlin Clark, Jordan Chiles, Juju Watkins Sophia Wilson (formerly Smith) and Alexia Putellas.
“Women’s sport isn’t the future, it’s right now. We’re seeing it in packed arenas, in TV ratings, in the way people are showing up for the game like never before,” said Ionescu.
“Commanding attention isn’t about being the loudest in the room. It’s about making sure that when you step up, everyone takes notice.”

According to Nike, the spot acknowledges that female athletes are judged more harshly than their male counterparts, facing criticism about their bodies, abilities, and performances.
Nike chief marketing officer Nicole Graham said: “At Nike, we make sure the athlete is at the centre of everything we do, from product creation to storytelling.”
The spot features a voiceover from Grammy-award-winning music star Doechii and was directed by Kim Gehirg, who also filmed the brand’s ‘Winning Isn’t For Everyone’ Olympic campaign.
The new campaign also features still photography, athlete extensions and a social media campaign.
