Plant-based supplement brand Dr Vegan is hoping to tackle what it calls the UK’s “gut health care crisis”, in its latest marketing drive.
Devised by creative agency ARK Agency, the campaign says 60% of Brits struggle with gut health issues.
“We knew this campaign had to be more than just eye-catching, it needed to spark real conversation and action,” said Mat Goff, co-founder of Ark Agency.
“By combining striking creative with powerful educational content, we’ve created a campaign that challenges perceptions and drives real engagement.”
Ark Agency co-founder Mike Wilton added: “Bold creative storytelling can drive real change. By making gut health a topic that demands attention, we hope to inspire action and help consumers take control of their wellbeing”.

The out-of-home execution features a first in intestine form and has been launched across London.
Gordon Lott, co-founder of Dr Vegan said: “Modern diets are filled with ultra-processed foods that negatively impact gut health, yet awareness and education on the topic remain critically low,”
“Our gut is the control centre for our physical and mental health, yet there is a glaring gap in education and understanding. Through this campaign and our new ‘Gut Health’ online hub, we aim to empower people with knowledge and practical tools to improve their health.”
As part of the campaign, Dr Vegan has also launched an online hub that was developed in partnership with nutritionists.
The hub provides information on common gut health issues, dietary impact and the gut’s role in the body.
Shona Wilkinson, a registered nutritionist at Dr Vegan said: “Gut health is responsible for 70% of our immune system and directly affects mood, energy, sleep, skin, and overall wellbeing. The more we educate ourselves on this topic, the better equipped we are to make choices that support our health.”
