Havas London chief executive James Fox is to leave the agency after three years.
He will depart later this month and has not yet announced what his next post will be.
Fox joined the agency in 2022 as chief client officer. He took over as chief executive in 2023, replacing Xavier Rees.
Prior to joining Havas London, Fox was at Lucky Generals for seven years, where he held the positions of managing director and partner in New York. He has also held positions at Anomaly and Dare.

Fox said: “Havas London is a top agency full of exceptional talent, and the chance to lead it over the past two years has been an immense pleasure. I’m particularly proud of the work we have created for our clients, the pioneering partnership with mental health provider Self Space, the ambitious training and development programmes we initiated, and, most recently, returning Havas London back toward the top of the new business rankings.
“I leave behind a brilliant team and an agency set up for success – I’m excited to see what comes next.”
According to Havas London Mark Whelan, Havas UK chairman and group chief creative officer, will take over the day-to-day management of the agency, working alongside Vicki Maguire (chief creative officer), Lorenzo Fruzza (chief design officer) and Matt Springate (chief strategy officer).
Whelan said: “On behalf of the team here, I’d like to thank Fox for his hard work, camaraderie, and most of all compassion over the past few years. We wish him all the best for the future.”
