Global travel marketplace Skyscanner has launched ‘The Ultimate Travel Hack’ – its first integrated global campaign designed for international markets.

Showcased across TV, OOH and digital, including the launch of paid TikTok assetsthe travel brand is aiming to restore its confidence in an international audience.

The campaign, which builds upon previous creatives, features four new band characters, including a travel magician, an analog travel agent, a quirky deal collecting couple and a private travel hacker. It captures the travel brand’s playful sensibilities and quirky humour, while highlighting Skyscanner as the company to go to for pro tips, tools and travel hacks.

‘The Ultimate Travel Hack’ campaign is also bolstered by fun ‘Easter eggs’ in the creative, rewarding curiosity with consumer competition.

The investment is designed to tap into international interest in post-pandemic travel, combined with renewed interest in finding a good travel deal.

Creating a highly measurable campaign, with multiple touchpoints for reflection and adaptation as we progressed was always key to the business and our collective goals,” said Skyscanner executive creative director, Andre Le Masurier.

“Ultimately, the key learnings of the first phase testing period led to further investment in TV, out-of-home and a national, all-in approach.”
