The Mission Group, a collection of digital marketing and communications agencies, has expanded its clientele group, with big wins including Jägermeister, the UK Space Agency and Goldman Sachs.
In a recent trading update for the first half of 2023, Mission reported double-figure revenue growth, driven by strong progress across the lifestyle and property, sports and entertainment and B2B sectors.
As a result, despite reduced activity in the US technology sector, Mission expects to report overall revenue growth of 12% to £42m for the period, with a headline operating profit of £1.9m.
Other new clients include Macmillan Coffee Morning, M1 Telecom and Worldplay among others, with the group alluding to potential new client acquisitions in the near future.
“Despite the more challenging trading environment, it is pleasing to see double-digit revenue growth and continued strong client retention and acquisition,” said Mission CEO James Clifton.

“The investments made across the group in recent years underpin a robust performance for the period.
“We enter H2 with a degree of caution linked to the wider economic backdrop but with the tailwind of notable Client wins and an encouraging pipeline of new business opportunities, which reinforce the board’s confidence in the long-term outlook for the group,” he concluded.
In keeping with its stated strategy for the group, Mission continues to expand into new areas of opportunity.
In the first half of this year, the group announced the acquisition of Mezzo Labs, a global data science and digital analytics consultancy, and the launch of Turbine, an integrated Growth Media agency specialising in earned, owned and paid media for consumer brands.
Last year the group added both Influence Sports & Media and Populate Social to its agency portfolio, with both agencies set to form part of the newly-created Mongoose Group.
