Steven Bartlett has partnered with City Outdoor to broadcast positive messages across the premium digital Out of Home media owner’s digital screens to mark World Mental Health Day 2022.
The digital screens will carry uplifting messages and supporting statements from Bartlett – the speaker, investor, author and host of ‘The Diary of a CEO’ podcast – across London, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and Leeds.
Launching at a time of economic uncertainty, when many people are feeling stretched and stressed in the run-up to Christmas, the inspirational messages will be updated on a weekly basis. They have been designed to break up advertising content in a bid to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts.
The launch message reads: “Anything that costs you your mental health is too expensive. Look elsewhere.”

City Outdoor Media national sales director, Tess Thompson, said: “we were keen to collaborate with Steven to amplify the work he has been doing in this area, and to give something back to the communities in which our screens are live.
“These messages may just help re-frame someone’s day.”
Talon Outdoor group chief sales and marketing officer, Sarah Parkes, said: “With one in four people experiencing some kind of mental health issue, it has never been so important for people to feel supported and recognised.
“It is imperative that the OOH industry is taking action and fantastic to see City Outdoor using their platform to offer positive messaging long-term.”
