Crystal Ski Holidays, which works in partnership with global travel provider Tui, has launched a new campaign that “puts loyal customers at the heart of the experience”.

Devised in collaboration with social agency Komodo, the activation ‘Communiski’ ditches the traditional influencer trips, giving customers the chance to win a curated ski experience in Norway.

Komodo’s content team will capture footage of the getaway and use it in the travel firm’s marketing drive.

Interested parties can apply for the trip by submitting a video application to the winter sports holiday firm, explaining why they deserve to go.

Alice Jones, Crystal Ski Holidays social media manager, said: “Our community is at the centre of everything we do at Crystal Ski Holidays, and we’re beyond excited to be giving back in such an exciting way.”

“We’ve seen the impact influencer trips have had on our brand, but now it’s time to also put the spotlight on to our loyal customers. Their voices and experiences matter most, and Communiski is our way of celebrating them while creating inspiring content that future travellers can truly connect with,” she added.

Andy Ryan, co-founder at Komodo said: “We’ve supported Crystal Ski Holidays on more than 10 influencer activations over the past five years, and Communiski is the natural evolution of that success. Travel content has changed, it’s no longer just about aspirational influencers, but about real people and genuine experiences.”
