NatWest has launched its first campaign on social media platform TikTok, developed by London agency VaynerMedia.
Aimed at promising entrepreneurs, the banking group’s campaign looks to showcase its ‘Business Builder’ online toolkit, which it says can be used to solve ‘real world challenges’. The service is set to be free of charge, and will not require users to be NatWest clients.
The toolkit was created to cater for the growing number of Britons launching their own businesses and will offer digital and events-based learning alongside giving users the chance to become part of a large community of like-minded people.
Each module is set to cover a wide range of topics including Climate and Sustainability, Business Strategy & Risk Management and Mindset.

“Britain is full of inspiring self-starters and entrepreneurs trying to take their businesses to the next level,” NatWest chief marketing officer, Margaret Jobling said.
“We want to empower them on their journeys as well as offer support when times are tough. Reaching people via a modern video platform seemed appropriate, partly to reach younger audiences but also to show what our Business Builder online toolkit can do in the most accessible way possible.”
VaynerMedia London managing director, Sarah Baumann added: “Working with NatWest, building out social content for a range of different audience cohorts, we found very strong engagement levels with hobbyists, entrepreneurs and the ‘side hustlers’.
“TikTok is where they spend a lot of time so we developed this campaign to help create useful, relevant content in a platform native, audience-centric way, showing that NatWest has both expertise and practical tools to support entrepreneurs on their start up journey.”
